Founded on 4th July 1998, Abbey Healthcare was created with one clear goal — helping people maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life through trusted healthcare and mobility solutions.

After many years working within the Doncaster NHS Wheelchair Services, founder Mick Parkin established Abbey Healthcare to provide customers with expert advice, high-quality products, and a more personal level of service.

In the years that have followed we have worked closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Rehabilitation Engineers, and other healthcare professionals, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in understanding individual mobility and healthcare needs.

Today, that same customer-focused approach remains at the heart of everything we do. From professional assessments and product guidance to reliable after-sales support, we are committed to delivering friendly, knowledgeable service that our customers can trust.
